At Nile Orthopedic, we provide the highest standers of Orthopedic surgery and Podiatry care. Our team of Orthopedic surgeons and podiatrist adopts the most advanced techniques and delivers individualized care for our patients.

Dr. BATA

Ahmed Bata, MD is highly regarded orthopedic surgeon. He is the CEO of Nile Orthopedic and Rehabilitation Association, Inc. Prior to this, he severed our community as Associate Professor of Orthopedic surgery at Loma Linda University Medical Center. Dr. Bata had extensive orthopedic training internationally and in North America. That included fellowship training at Pennsylvania hospital University of Pennsylvania and Hospital for Special Surgery Cornell University. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic surgeon (AAOS) and American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society (AOFAS). Dr. Bata provides general orthopedic care. Dr. Bata understands the impact of orthopedic conditions on patients and their families. He is committed to provide you with the care you deserve.

Dr. Chi Nguyen

Dr. Nguyen received his undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Davis and earned his doctoral degree from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco. He graduated from the Podiatric Surgical Residency program at the Southern Arizona Veterans Affairs Health Care System Hospital in Tucson, where he received extensive training in both conservative and surgical treatments. Dr. Nguyen brings an important aspect of care to our team and we are thrilled to have him on staff at Nile Orthopedic.
My philosophy in life and in practicing Podiatric Medicine is based on Albert Pine’s quote, “What we do for ourselves dies with us. What we do for others and the world remains and is immortal.” I love working together with each individual patient and their family to help find the best solution for their existing foot ailments which in turn will give them a better quality of life. I am honored and privileged to be a part of Nile Orthopedic working together with my colleagues and staff as a team to care for our patients.

Dr. Andrew Thomas

Andrew Thomas, DPM, MBA earned his undergraduate degree from La Sierra University in Riverside, and master's degree from Loma Linda University. Dr. Thomas obtained a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona. His surgical residency training was completed at the Phoenix VA Medical Center in Arizona and affiliated hospitals in the Phoenix area. His residency provided extensive training in both conservative and surgical management of foot and ankle conditions with experience in wound care, sports medicine, biomechanics, reconstructive surgery, trauma, diabetic limb salvage, and elective surgery. Dr. Thomas resides in the Inland Empire and enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, reading, and weight lifting.
